Green Bay trades HaHa Clinton-Dix to Washington

The Eagles biggest threat to their NFC East title aspirations just got better.

Rams trade for DE Dante Fowler

The Rams are going all in on a Super Bowl. LA already had Donald and Suh in the middle of the defensive line. Now they add Fowler on the edge…..look out

Ravens trade for RB Ty Montgomery

Teams are contacting Tampa Bay about DeSean Jackson

After requesting a trade from the Buccaneers this past Sunday, teams are inquiring about DeSean Jackson but per reports, Tampa Bay doesn’t want to sell.

Eagles trade 3rd round pick to Detroit Lions for WR Golden Tate

Trader Howie strikes again! The Eagles are sending a 3rd round pick to the Detroit Lions for Golden Tate. Tate is on pace for over 1,000 yards and 6 touchdowns. The offense needed another run after the catch play-maker and Tate is great in that area. This allows Nelson Agholor to be used down the field a lot more.

Eagles interested in Raiders Tackle Kelechi Osemele

According to CBS’s Jason La Canfora the Eagles have interest in acquiring Raiders offensive tackle Kelechi Osemele.

With Lane Johnson likely out up to a month and Jason Peters nursing a number of injuries, this makes sense short term and long term. As soon as next year the Eagles will need to replace Peters at left tackle. Osemele is only 29 years old. Pro Football Focus has Osemele as the 53rd ranked lineman.

Bills asking price might be a 4th round pick for LeSean McCoy

It would have been reasonable to trade a 3rd for McCoy. The fact that Buffalo may only ask for a 4th could move this faster than expected.

Serious interest in Jaguars DE Dante Fowler

This seems like the kind of player Howie Roseman would trade for. Fowler is young, has shown he can get to the QB in the NFL, and would help now and in the future which is important to the Eagles in a trade. Fowler would add to the four-man rotation at DE replacing Derek Barnett, and he could be an eventual replacement to Brandon Graham or Chris Long.

Broncos trade WR Demaryius Thomas to the Texans

According to Ian Rappaport, the Texans have made a trade for Demaryius Thomas for a mid-round draft pick.

That likely spells the end of any trade rumors involving Emmanuel Sanders.

Apparently the Eagles were interested in Thomas.

Jerry Jones is ruining deadline day

According to Jay Glazer, teams have a higher asking price for players on the block because the Cowboys gave up a 1st round pick for Amari Cooper.

So because Jerry Jones doesn’t understand trade value other general managers think they can get more from buyers.

Needless to say, NFL Twitter isn’t happy and it is perfect.

We will see if that lasts throughout the day. Odds are the price should come down as sellers get more desperate to move players for any compensation.

DeSean Jackson and Le’Veon Bell not likely to be traded per Adam Schefter

If you were hoping for a reunion with Jackson or a potential blockbuster deal for Bell, Adam Schefter may have put a damper on your morning.

Joining 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia, the ESPN insider said it isn’t likely the Buccanneers front office hoping to save their jobs will want to move Jackson for a future pick.

Schefter also shot down a Bell trade saying without Bell signing his franchise tag, he won’t get moved.

LeSean McCoy not sure if he will be traded from Buffalo

After falling to 2-6 on the season, the Buffalo Bills might be sellers today before the deadline. One key name consistently brought up has been former Philadelphia Eagle RB LeSean McCoy who Howie Roseman reportedly has done his due diligence on.

McCoy was asked after the Monday Night loss if he expected to be traded and he was uncertain.

The Lions may be blown away with a mid-round pick for WR Golden Tate

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Lions would have to be blown away by an offer to move Golden Tate but that might only take a 4th or 5th round draft pick.

Tate, in a contract season, is unlikely to get another deal in Detroit where Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay have emerged as explosive weapons for Matthew Stafford.

Broncos might sell WR Demaryius Thomas after loss to Kansas City

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport, the Broncos might be looking to move on from veteran WR Demaryius Thomas. Denver loves what they have in rookie WR Courtland Sutton and a loss to the Chiefs put the Broncos in a tough 3-5 hole. Thomas has an $8 million cap hit but a team like the New England Patriots who are looking to add another dynamic weapon on offense might be willing to take on the contract.

Rappaport also mentioned the Eagles as a team that may be interested.
