The Eagles offensive line was voted the best in football for the 2017 season. Even after losing Jason Peters to a season-ending knee injury, Big V filled in at LT and the Eagles continued to be an elite line in both run blocking and pass protection.

The line was so dominant that when MVP-favorite Carson Wentz went down with a torn ACL, Nick Foles stepped in and was barely touched all year. As a result, Foles played at a historic level and won Super Bowl MVP for the Eagles.

They were the face of the underdog mentality in the Super Bowl run, they are the unsung heroes of the team. Here we give them their due as the best offensive line in football.

Yes, even better than the Dallas Cowboys up-front. We go back to the Locked on Eagles episode discussing how the Birds offensive line is even better than the locked in, consensus #1 line in football for the past 5 years in Dallas as the proper way to preview the five bodyguards.

The Eagles Super Bowl run in 2017 came at a cost. Brandon Graham has nursed an ankle injury all offseason, Alshon Jeffery played with a torn rotator cuff all season, and Carson Wentz tore his ACL trying to score a touchdown against another NFC powerhouse in the LA Rams.

With these key starters along with a few others getting close but still not ready to hit the field, who will be ready to go up against the Atlanta Falcons on the first Thursday of the NFL season?

Also on the show, why it is ok for Nick Foles to be the starter for week one.
